The Everest base camp trek / EBC trek is a popular trekking route in Nepal that takes you to the base of the world’s highest mountain, Mount Everest. The trek typically lasts for 10-12 days and takes you through some of the most beautiful and diverse landscapes in Nepal.

During the trek, you will get to see some of the highest peaks in the world, including Mount Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse. You will also get to experience the thrill of hiking through high passes, including the Kala Patthar pass, which is the highest point on the trek at an altitude of 5,554 meters (18,192 feet). From the Kala Patthar pass, you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountain ranges and the beautiful Khumbu Glacier.

You will stay in local tea houses along the way, which will give you the opportunity to experience the local culture and cuisine. You will also get to visit the Sagarmatha National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, including the endangered Himalayan tahr and the colorful danfe pheasant.

The trek also offers the opportunity to experience the culture and way of life of the local Sherpa community, who are the indigenous people of the region. The Sherpas are known for their warm hospitality and their expertise in mountain climbing.

Day 1: Arrival Day

Your arrival to Tribhuwan International Airport and transfer to hotel. Evening welcome dinner and overnight at Hotel.

Day 2: Full Day Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley

Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Lukla by flight and trek to Phakding (2600m)

Early flight to Lukla. Upon reaching Lukla, you will hike up to Phakding. Overnight at Sherpa Shangrilla.

Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3535m)

Early breakfast, then hike to Namche Bazar. Overnight at Hotel Sherpalan

Day 5: Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar.

Rest day at Namche Bazar. Overnight at Hotel SherpaLand

Day 6: Trek to Tengboche (3850m.)

From here we ascend towards Tengboche village. Overnight at Rivendell Guest House.

Day 7: Trek to Dingboche

Trek to Dingboche (5-6 hours). Overnight at Good Luck Guesthouse

Day 8: Acclimatization day in Dingboche

Spending a day in Dingboche. Overnight at Good Luck Guesthouse

Day 9: Trek to Lobuche

We ascend to the Khumbu Glacier. (5-6 hours). Overnight at Sherpa Lodge

Day 10: Trek to Gorakshep (5160m)

The trek to Everest Base Camp. Overnight at Himalayan Guest House

Day 11: Hike to Kalapathar (5545m) and Trek to Periche (5-6 hrs.)

Hike to Kala Patthar Afterward, it’s back to Gorekshep. Overnight at Pumori Lodge

Day 12: Trek down to Namche

Trek to Namche. Overnight at Hotel Sherpaland

Day 13: Trek to Phakding

Walk through the Sherpa villages. Overnight at Hotel Sherpa Shangrila

Day 14: Trek down to Lukla

After breakfast, trek toward the Hillary Suspension Bridge. Overnight at Hotel Mera.

Day 15: Drive/Fly back to Kathmandu

We will take an early drive to Kathmandu by tourist bus or flight. Overnight at Himalayan Suite Hotel.

Day 16: Departure Day

After an early breakfast, our representative will drive you to the airport for your flight to your country or you may join your next trip.
