Day 1: Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara (30-40 min flight). Drive to Kimche (2:30 hrs). Trek to Ghandruk (3 hrs).
We will fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara (30-40 min flight), then drive to Kimche (2:30 hrs) and begin their trek to Ghandruk (3 hrs). Ghandruk is a village known for its Buddhist temple, local traditions, and panoramic views of the Fishtail and Annapurna South mountains.
Day 2: Trek to Chhomrong (5 hrs).
We will continue their trek to Chhomrong (5 hrs), a beautiful spot nestled in the shadow of Annapurna's towering peak. Along the way, they will see the Annapurna West and Fishtail Peak mountains. The trek involves a steep descent to the Kimron River and an ascent to Chhomrong, which takes about an hour after hiking from Ghandruk.
Day 3: Trek to Doban (7 hrs).
We will trek to the village of Doban (7 hrs), which involves entering a green forest through the stone steps of Homrong Hola and hiking uphill through thick bamboo and rhododendron trees
Day 4: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (7 hrs).
We will reach their ultimate destination, the Annapurna Base Camp (7 hrs), at an altitude of 4130m. To get there, they will follow a narrow gorge called the Modi Khola glacier valley to the base camp, which is located at the foot of Machhapuchhre. From the base camp, they will have impressive 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains, including Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Khangsar Kang, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, and Machhapuchhare.
Day 5: Trek to Bamboo (6 hrs).
We will continue their trek out of the Annapurna Base Camp and begin their descent out of the Modi River gorge (6 hrs). They will have the opportunity to see a stunning sunrise with the Himalayas before arriving at the serene Bamboo village.
Day 6: Trek to Jhinu Danda (6 hrs).
We will trek through peaceful forests of rhododendrons, bamboos, and oak to reach the village of Jhinu Danda (6 hrs). Jhinu Danda is a low, quiet village that has hot springs along the river that allow the group to relax and soak their tired muscles.
Day 7: Trek to Ghandruk Phedi (3-4 hrs). Drive to Pokhara (2:30 hrs). Fly to Kathmandu (30-40 min flight).
We will walk along a plain dust road for 3 to 4 hours to reach Siwa/Ghandruk Phedi (3-4 hrs) after leaving Jhinu Danda hot springs. They will then drive to Birethanti, Nayapul, and Pokhara (2:30 hrs) before flying back to Kathmandu (30-40 min flight).
